We are specialists in environmental simulation
A variety of environmental influences have an impact over a product life cycle. A vehicle won’t start in winter, fuel leaks from a brittle rubber seal, corrosion products lead to a seized shaft, a mounting bracket breaks due to vibration excitation in the natural frequency – just a few examples of the effects of environmental influences.
Technical devices, components and materials have to withstand many different thermal, climatic or mechanical environmental loads during their product life cycle, at transportation, storage and use. We simulate these environmental influences in environmental simulation tests and provide our customers with valuable information for and in product development.
Whether they can do this is examined in environmental simulation tests. This involves putting the prototypes of new products through their paces during the development phase under extreme conditions, such as cold, frost, heat, humidity, vibration or mechanical shock. Environmental simulation tests thus provide important findings to make products fit for their intended use in the field.
We are an accredited testing laboratory with more than 25 years of experience in environmental simulation
As an accredited testing laboratory, we support our customers in the qualification of their products through environmental simulation tests in accordance with current national and international standards, legal stipulations and customer specific standards. We also work with our customers to develop individual solutions for their very specific issues and requirements.
In our extensive test laboratory, we carry out a wide range of environmental simulation tests, such as:
Hot and dry deserts, hot and humid rainforests, icy cold polar regions – products must be able to withstand a wide range of climatic influences if they are to be used worldwide. We carry out climate tests in our accredited test laboratory in accordance with current standards and customer specific standards.
