Functional tests

We measure the functions and parameters of the test specimens in the environmental simulation

Environmental simulation tests are often complex and take a long time. It therefore makes sense to gain as much information and knowledge as possible from the tests. We measure, test and monitor the functions and parameters of our customers’ test specimens before, during and after the environmental simulation.

We measure under defined environmental conditions

In our test laboratory, we also carry out measurements under defined environmental and operating loads – such as temperature, humidity, vibrations, internal pressure, etc. This allows us to determine the influence of environmental conditions on the function and parameters of the test specimens.

High voltages (HV) and currents on electric drives, batteries, control units, wire harnesses, etc.
Measurement of short-term contact interruptions (micro cuts) on electrical plug connections (MiCADS)
4-wire resistance measurement on HV cables and HV plug connections with test currents up to 10 A
Insertion and extraction forces on plug-in connections
Conductor pull-out forces and micrographs of crimp connections
Localization of leaks, helium or nitrogen pressurized, with leak detector

Our fixtures and test setups for your measuring tasks

We measure with customer specific test setups – e.g. for automated measuring tasks – or with our own test and measuring devices. We also design and build the necessary test fixtures, test setups or even complete test rigs for you.
