Energy requirements of a community of 2,000 inhabitants It’s hard to believe, but VIBTEC GmbH’s environmental simulation tests, which simulate vibrations caused by potholes roads or years of capricious weather in tests lasting just a few days, require as much electricity over a year as a municipality with 2,000 inhabitants. And that, of course, causes immense costs, especially in these times of rising energy prices. With this in mind, the IHK magazine conducted an interview with Managing Director Lothar Rudolf, in which he explained that he wants to generate VIBTEC GmbH’s energy requirements from solar power in the long-term.
